Insects and spiders are both arthropods, but they have several key differences:
1. Body Parts:
- Insects have three body parts: the head, thorax, and abdomen.
- Spiders have two body parts: the cephalothorax (head and thorax joined together) and the abdomen.
2. Legs:
- Insects have six legs.
- Spiders have eight legs.
3. Wings:
- Most insects have wings, or at least go through a stage with wings.
- Spiders have no wings.
4. Antennae:
- Insects have antennae on their heads to sense the world around them.
- Spiders have no antennae.
